All commands operating on folders and tabs only affect the selected items. You can select a single item by simply clicking on it. To select a group of component cards, proceed as follows:

To select or deselect only one item

  1. Click on the item and do one of the following:

    • Choose the Edit » Add/Remove from selection or click the tool in the toolbar.

    • Press the SPACEBAR key.

To select or deselect a group of items

  1. Click the first item and do one of the following:

    • Choose the command Edit » Add/Remove previous from selection or click on the tool in the toolbar. The current element and those that precede it, within the same folder, are added to the selection. The procedure stops if it encounters a selected item.

    • Choose the command Edit » Add/Remove the following from the selection or click on the tool in the toolbar. The current item and those that follow it, within the same folder, are added to the selection. The procedure stops if it encounters a selected item.

To cancel the current selection

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Choose the command Edit » Cancel selection or click on the tool in the toolbar.

    • Press the key combination CTRL+SHIFT+A.
