The coordinate system bar allows you to set the coordinate class.
To set one of the coordinate classes defined in the document
To set a coordinate class, the coordinate system bar must be displayed. Choose the class of coordinates in the list box of the bar.
To set up a custom snap grid
To use a different snap grid than the default one in the current coordinate class, you must open the Snap dialog. Do one of the following:
- If a drawing tool is not active and the coordinate system bar is displayed, click the button on the bar.
- If a drawing tool is not active, choose the Snap command in the Settings menu.
- If a drawing tool is active, open the tool's context menu and select the Snap command.
The values set for the snap are assigned according to the hierarchy of the current coordinate system. For more information about the coordinate system see Setting the coordinate system.
To change the display of the visible grid
To set the display of the visible grid, open the Visible Grid dialog box. Do one of the following:
- If the coordinate system bar is displayed, click the button on the bar.
- Choose the Grid command in the Settings menu.
