Basic page properties include page size, page display style, visible grid style, and coordinate system.

To set the page size

The format of the pages is a property of the document and therefore all the pages of the document have the same format.

  1. Open the Document Properties dialog by selecting the Settings » Document Properties command or by using the CTRL+ALT+D key combination.

  2. Open the Page tab by clicking the Pulsante espandi button.

  3. Click on the Format tab and set the parameters.

Hierarchy of basic page properties

The basic page settings (page display style, visible grid style and coordinate system) are applied according to the hierarchical scheme: Document » Page » View. The page properties set in the document will apply to all pages and views of the document unless they are redefined in an internal level. Similarly, the page properties set in the page will apply to all page views unless they are redefined in the view.

To set the basic properties of the page

  1. Open the Document properties dialog by selecting the Settings » Document properties command or by using the CTRL+ALT+D key combination.

  2. Open the Page tab by clicking the button Pulsante espandi.

  3. Click on the Page style tab and set the display style of the pages.

  4. Click on the Grid style tab and set the display style of the visible grid.

  5. Click on the Coordinate class tab and choose the coordinate system.

To redefine the basic properties of the current page

  1. Open the Page properties dialog by selecting the Settings » Page properties or by using the CTRL+ALT+G key combination.

  2. Click on the Basic page properties and set the parameter Use the settings defined in the document to No.

  3. Open the Basic page properties tab by clicking the button Pulsante espandi.

  4. Click on the Page style tab and set the display style of the pages.

  5. Click on the Grid style tab and set the display style of the visible grid.

  6. Click on the Coordinate class tab and choose the coordinate system.

To redefine the basic properties of the page in a view

  1. Open the Layers Setup dialog by selecting the Settings » Layers and Views command or by using the button on the layer bar.

  2. In the view box, select the view.

  3. In the view properties box, click on the Basic page properties and set the parameter Use the settings defined on the page to No.

  4. Open the Basic page properties tab by clicking the button Pulsante espandi.

  5. Click on the Page style tab and set the display style of the pages.

  6. Click on the Grid style tab and set the display style of the visible grid.

  7. Click on the Coordinate class tab and choose the coordinate system.
