Bus segments are defined by two points: a start point and an end point. In this dialog box, the coordinates of the ends can be specified in several ways. You can set the shape of the bus ends. The objects Bus entry must be used for the input and output of signals from the bus.
Start point
Specify the coordinates of the point where the segment begins.
- X
-
Specify the horizontal position.
- Y
-
Specify the vertical position.
End point
Specify the coordinates of the point where the segment ends. The coordinates of the end point can be specified as follows:
- In absolute coordinates
-
Specify the horizontal position in the X box and the vertical position in the Y box.
- In coordinates relative to the starting point
-
Specify the distance of the endpoint from the starting point in the fields Dx and Dy.
- In polar coordinates from the starting point
-
Specify the length of the segment and the angle it forms with respect to the x-axis in the fields Segment length and Angle.
Start cap
Specify the shape of the initial end of the bus. The initial end will only take the selected form if it is not connected to another bus segment.
End cap
Specify the shape of the final end of the bus. The final end will only take the selected form if it is not connected to another bus segment.
