They are simple text documents without formatting.

To create a new plain text document

  1. Open the New document:

    • If your Job includes only one project, choose New from the File menu and then click Document.

    • Within the Job Panel, right-click on the project name where you want to add the document, in the menu that appears choose New » Document.

  2. In the dialog box, specify the title of the document and select Plain Text Document in the group Text documents.

Plain text documents are used: To create a library of SPICE models, for SPICE simulation in text mode, To create JavaScript macros.
