The following commands operate on the selected portion of text

To cut the text

  1. To cut the text and move it to another location, select it and then do one of the following:

    • Choose the Edit » Cut command or click on the tool in the toolbar.

    • Press the key combination CTRL+X.

To copy the text

  1. To copy the text to be pasted to another location, select it and then do one of the following:

    • Choose the Edit » Copy command or click on the tool in the toolbar.

    • Press the key combination CTRL+C.

To paste the text

  1. To paste the previously cut or copied text, click in the document where you want to paste the text and then do one of the following:

    • Choose the Edit » Paste command or click on the tool in the toolbar.

    • Press the key combination CTRL+V.

To delete the text

  1. To delete the text, select it and then do one of the following:

    • Choose the Edit » Cancella command or click on the tool in the toolbar.

    • Press the key combination CANC.

To select all text

  1. To select all text in one step, do one of the following:

    • Choose the Edit » Seleziona tutto command or click on the tool in the toolbar.

    • Press the key combination CTRL+A.
