The 3D View command shows the model of the printed circuit board produced with all the components installed. You can rotate the board, zoom in and out in real time, change the colors of the board and export the 3D PCB model to various formats.

To show the 3D preview

  1. Choose the command PCB » 3D View or click on the tool in the toolbar.

To rotate the 3D model using the mouse

  1. Move the mouse while holding down the left mouse button to rotate the 3D model around the X and Y axes.

  2. Move the mouse while holding down the right mouse button to rotate the 3D model around the Z axis.

To export the 3D PCB model

  1. In the 3D PCB document choose the command Operations » Save 3D file or click on the tool in the toolbar.

To set the PCB materials

  1. In the 3D PCB document choose the command View » Set Colors or click on the tool in the toolbar.
