Notes allow you to insert comments and information into the drawing. They can be hidden and displayed only when needed.
To add a note

Choose the Graphics » Text » Note command or click the tool on the toolbar. The note symbol appears attached to the mouse cursor.

Place the note and click to insert it into the drawing.

Press SHIFT+ENTER to insert the text.
To finish entering the text, click on a point outside the box or press CTRL+TAB.
To hide or show the note text, click on the nail holding the note.
When entering text, you can use the mouse pointer to move the cursor or to select part of the text. The selected text can be deleted, copied or edited. You can change the color or effects (underline, strikethrough, italic, bold, etc.).
To edit the note text
To show the note text, click on the nail holding the note.

Select the paragraph and perform one of the following operations:

Choose the Edit Text command from the Graphics » Text menu.

Press the key combination SHIFT+ENTER.

Activate the context menu with the right mouse button and choose the command Edit Text .

The input cursor appears at the beginning of the text. Enter the text.
To end the editing phase by confirming the changes, click on a point outside the paragraph.
To end the editing phase cancelling the changes made to the paragraph, press the ESC key.
Commands and options
To add a new note press the SPACEBAR.
To close the tool without adding note, press ESC.
When typing text, press the secondary mouse button to display the tool menu. Choose the Insert submenu commands to enter field codes and special characters into the text.
