This command allows you to draw a series of dimension lines measured from the same baseline.
To draw a dimension

Choose the Graphics » Dimension » Baseline command or click the tool in the toolbar.

Specify the origin point of the first extension line. This point is the baseline against which all subsequent dimension lines are Measured.

Specify the point of origin of the second extension line. You can use the pointing device or you can open the dialog box for entering values. In the dialog box, the coordinates of the endpoint can be specified as follows:
By typing the point coordinates directly.
By specifying the offset from the starting point.
Specifying the inclination of the line relative to the horizontal axis and its length.
Drag the mouse to adjust the height of the dimension line and click to define the first dimension line.
Drag the mouse and click to define the next dimension Line. Repeat this operation for the remaining dimension lines.

To end the command, press the ENTERkey.
The dimension is created with the current Style.
Commands and options
To start a new dimension, press the SPACEBAR.
To close the tool without drawing the dimension, press ESC.

To change the shape of the dimension line, Press TAB.
To specify the coordinates of the points or the value of the lengths you can use the pointing device or you can press INS to open the dialog box for entering values.
