A keepout object is a closed polygon that defines the profile of an area of the PCB where no components or traces can be placed. With keepout objects it is possible to define areas for machining or other assembly requirements. You can draw keepouts with a profile of any shape, or you can create a keepout object by copying its shape from another object.
Note: |
---|
Keepout objects can be created on the Keepout layer or on any copper layer. Objects placed on the Keepout layer create keepout areas on all copper layers. |
