When you clone an object, you create a copy of an object that is linked to the original. Any changes made to the original object are automatically reflected in the clone. However, changes made to the clone are not automatically reflected in the original.
To create a clone
Select the objects to clone. Only objects of type Group can be cloned.

Choose the Graphics » Clone » Create or click the
tool in the toolbar.
The copy is offset from the original. The amount of offset can be set in the document options dialog or with the Graphics » Clone » Offset command.
