A shape consists of a sequence of linked segments as a single object. You can create straight line segments, arc segments, or curves. Shapes can be opened or closed. Closed shapes can contain holes.

To add a hole

Perform the following operations:

  1. Select the hole. The holes can be closed objects of the following types: shape, circle, ellipse and rectangle.

  2. Drag the hole inside the Shape object to be drilled. The hole must be entirely contained in the Shape object.

  3. Select both the hole and the shape in which the hole should be inserted.

  4. Choose the command Graphic » Shape » Add hole or click the button in the toolbar.
