With the polar arrangement, the series is defined by a central point around which the selected object is replicated.
Warning: |
---|
In serial duplication of objects it is very important to specify the coordinates of the point to be considered as the origin of the whole selection, initially set at the center of the selection rectangle. The arrangement of objects based on the type of distribution chosen is relative to the origin of the selection. Vedere Selection Transformation Center. |
Number of copies
The number of copies can be specified either directly or indirectly by indicating the angle between the objects. You must set the Specifies the angle between objects:
-
If the box is checked, you must specify the angle between the objects. The number of objects will be determined by the length of the arc between the start angle and the end angle.
-
If the box is not checked, you must directly specify the number of objects to be created. The objects will be arranged so as to fill the entire length of the arc between the start angle and the end angle.
Ellipse
The parameters belonging to this group define the ellipse on which the duplicate objects will be placed.
- Horizontal and Vertical Center
-
Specify the coordinates of the center of the ellipse.
- X-axis size and Y-axis size
-
Specify the dimensions of the ellipse axes.
- Horizontal axis rotation
-
Specify the angle of rotation of the ellipse.
Arc
The parameters belonging to this group define the ellipse arc on which the duplicate objects will be placed.
- Start angle
-
Specify the start angle of the arc.
- End angle
-
Specify the final angle of the arc.
- Direction
-
Indicate whether the arc between the start and end angles should be drawn clockwise or counterclockwise.
Rotate objects
Select this box if the objects are to be rotated.
Name
You can assign a name to each object in the series. The full name consists of a fixed part and a variable index. In this box the fixed part of the name must be specified using the '%' character to indicate the position in which to insert the index. The index is appended to the name if its position is not specified. If this box is empty, no name will be assigned.
Index
The full name assigned to each object in the series consists of a fixed part and a variable index. In this box you can specify the initial value of the index to hang on the name. If the value does not represent a number then the index will be alphabetic instead of numeric. The index value is automatically increased by one, you can specify a different value for the increment by separating it from the index with a comma.
