Group parameters can be defined in this dialog box. The parameters make it easy to set the properties common to the objects in the group. For example, if the group contains multiple line objects you can define a parameter for the pen style of these lines so that changing the value of the parameter will update the style of all lines.
Parameters are characterized by the name, type and set of objects affected by the parameter value. The parameter name represents the title of the parameter value edit box. The type of the parameter identifies the property of the object and can be one of the following: pen style, brush style, shadow style, text style, and a text string.
Note: |
---|
Objects can be associated with a parameter based on the name of the object so a name must be given to each object that is to be associated with a parameter. The name of the object should be specified by assigning a value to the ObjName attribute. See Internal attributes of objects. |
