The appearance of this dialog box changes depending on the type of document to be printed.
Printer
This section contains the parameters for the printer. You can change the printer by selecting another one from the list. The Settings button displays the dialog box in which to set the printer parameters.
Pages to print
In this section you must specify what to print.
- All
-
Selecting this option prints the entire document.
- Pages
-
If your document contains more than one page, you can specify the range of pages to be printed or you can select Current page to print only the active page.
- Selected objects
-
To print only a few objects, select them before printing is activated.
- View
-
Select the view to print.
- Odd or even pages
-
Specify whether all pages of the print range or only odd or even pages should be printed.
Page scaling
This section specifies the parameters for resizing the document to be printed. Choose the scaling factor from those listed or type it in directly.
- Split into multiple sheets
-
If the area to be printed exceeds the area of the sheet, you can check this box to print on multiple sheets. The preview window will display all the sheets and the layout of the print. Click on individual sheets to include or exclude them from printing.
Print margins
-
Indicate the width of the sheet margins. If the Reverse on even pages option is selected, the left and right margin values will be inverted on even pages to facilitate binding.
Options
- Print to file
-
If this box is checked, printing is sent in a file instead of to the printer. Before you start printing, a dialog box is opened in which you can specify the file name. This option is useful when you need to print the file from a different location.
- Auto-rotate
-
If you check this box, printing is automatically rotated to match the size of the sheet.
- Center on page
-
If this box is checked, printing is always placed in the center of the sheet.
