This dialog box is part of the command for creating Net Label objects.

Name

Specify the name to be assigned to the connection. The full name consists of a fixed part and a variable index. In this box the fixed part of the name must be specified using the character '%' to indicate the position where to insert the index. The index is queued to the name if its position is not specified.

Bus

If the net label is hooked to a bus line, specify all signals propagated by the bus by separating them with a comma and leave the Index box empty. Groups of signals with the name formed by a prefix followed by a progressive numerical index (e.g., data lines of a memory component: D0,D1,D2 etc.) can be specified using the following form:

prefix[initial_index..final index]

Examples:
A0,A1,A2
A[0..15]
A0,A[4..7],A10
A[15..0]

Index

The full name assigned to the Net Label object consists of a fixed part and a variable index. In this box you can specify the initial value of the index to be hung on the name. If the value does not represent a number then the index will be alphabetical rather than numerical. The value of the index is automatically increased by one the next time you place a net label, you can specify a different value for the increment by separating it from the index with a comma.

Net Class

Select the net class. Net classes define the styles of connections. They include wire style in the schematics and DRC and Routing classes for the PCB. see Net Classes.

Rotation

Specify the angle of rotation of the text with respect to the x-axis.

Alignment

Specify the horizontal and vertical alignment of the text relative to the point of insertion in the drawing. See Text alignment.

Style

Select the text style from the proposed list or create a new style. If the style is set to Automatic the net class style is used.
